They're singing again

I posted a few days (weeks?) ago about my coworkers that constantly sing, hum, whistle, drum on the table, etc.
The guy sitting near me today has gone, just today, complete with vibrato as if he's practicing for choir: Happy Birthday, The Godfather, Jingle Bells, Let it Snow, Dixie, and something I can't recognize. When he gets bored, he switches from vibrato to stacatto, then "mouth percussion" (dhoo dhoo dhoooooo, etc). Every time he inhales, loud music comes out. The guy in the next room has whistling issues. That song they played in the club in "Kill Bill 1," and also in the cell phone ad.
Does the American workforce have universal adult ADHD or something?

Granted - this idea will only work if your co-workers pay attention, but what about taking a pair of ear plugs to work with you and make a point of putting them in your ears when either of them starts their performance. (Take the ear plugs with you, stand next to their desk, and plug them in). I'd hope they'd get the message.

Should that not prove successful, try playing classical music (or some other musical styling of which they do not seem to be a fan) loudly enough to drown them out. Hopefully they will get irritated quickly and realize how their habits impact others, too. :)

i recommend learning singing or yelling the 2nd chorus to the Slayer classic Seasons In The Abyss...altogether now...

I'm counting on the clock. He hasn't stopped humming (with baritone vibrato), the same 4 bars of some song, since exactly 1:30. Hmmmmmmm hmm hmmmmmm daaaaaaaa da deeeuuemmmm de dumumumumummmmmmmmm Hmmmmmm de dummmmmmmmm SHAAAAAAAADUPP!

He's at it again. now involves singing and drumming on the table at the same time. Occasionally he stops to sigh, but it's actually a breath of air for the next note:
doo doooooo doooooo dooooooooo
doooooo doo da dum dum boo boo boo boooooo DADA DADADAADAAAAAAAA bo booooooooo.....*sigh* *repeat*

Monkeys in a cage. /*/*/ Listen to you own music, white noise, whatever. I had one sneak up and hum behind me whenever I noted something in longhand in the workbook, at bosses' request. I talked to her, then her supervisor, the humming and breathing got worse. She wanted to look good and tried to keep others from login and tracking work. Others are oblivious and insensitive. They usually survive and go far.
