Ok, so what I have to say pertains to all those people out there wanting to get a job at the American Showa Inc. plant in Blanchester, Ohio. Please think twice before you do so cause you will be in the closest place to Hell a human can be in. I mean Temporarys get treated like crap, and thats coming from a Full time associate in me, they tell you that you have to get so many hours then you get hired such a lie, you wont get hired for at least 6 months to a year.
Plus they don't pay the temps anything hardly I believe it's like $8.75 an hour way not worth what you have to put up with, plus to allot of the associates they hold back your check on more than one occasion saying it's an accounting problem, and you wont receive a check until like 5 days later. Plus most of the full time associates will treat you like crap, not me, but most of them will treat you bad. Now on to the full time associates, it dont get any better there they get treated like shit also, for example I had a friend that used to work here until he go smart and retired from this hell hole, anyways he thought he was having a heart attack and he was being taken out on a stretcher, and the next day when he came back the office tried to give him an occurence for not clocking out while on the stretcher and being taken out by the paremedics, before he left. And this man is in his mid sixties with a pacemaker and they had the nerve to try to give him an occurence, thats how well they treat their employees here at American Showa.
Also, here at Showa they don't care about their parts all they care about is a clean work area. For example a friend of mine who is a good worker and always is getting treated like crap, I really feel sorry for him, works on a certain line in an area where there is no ventilation, had his fan taken away by management for no reason whatsoever at all, and now not only does he work on the worst position on that line but has to do it without a fan. Well, thats not all but everyone on that line and the lines in the clean room had to endure some hazardous work related issues a couple days ago when the company made a decision to sand and paint the floors while they were working, instead of waiting towards the weekend and letting everyone off, so they didn't have to smell the paint fumes and be endured to all the paint dust and everything, I mean for crying out loud the people doing the floor were wearing masks, and the Showa associates were given nothing, except getting their fans taken away. Anyways, someone needs to check this place out before they put anyone else into danger or bad circumstances. Thanks
P.S. Please if anyone wonts a job here please don't come here unless you don't love life and enjoy living it.
