We have a big quarterly meeting this week that I intend to skip if possible. Others are skipping, wanting to skip but can't or taking time off to "see the doctor" excuse. Myself, I am going to try to work. Yea, I'd rather WORK than attend another BS session.
I was teasing a co-worker friend about the meeting (her boss makes her go) and told her she should get a "Smile on a stick" (www.smileonastick.com) and wear one during the meeting. Because the meeting will be usless anyway, the employees and management couldn't care less we could all wear one because that is the only thing management wants to see - a bunch of people with smiling faces!
(Maybe I should also wear my BS Deflectors (ear protection) as well ... Hmmmm ... now THAT'S a thought!)

By Catbox:I am thinking of Southern Programmer when I write this:
I would like hands on a stick--an "okay" sign, a "thumbs-up", a "thumbs down" and of course--the most relevant to the workplace--"The Finger".I would also like an eyes on stick. A wink, a furrowed brow, etc....
And of course, an outfit on a stick. That way I always look good:)
By CK:Go to the site I posted and you will see they have an interactive hand that give the "bird" - you have to see it to know what I mean.
By SouthernProgrammer:I wonder if they will make one with a motorized mouth....
By Catbox:One of those smiles on a stick should be a mouth puckering up and should have a sound box with the sound of a** kissing.
By CK:Cat - where I work we don't need a soundbox for that sound. We have plenty doing that now - why encourage it even more? At times I think some of those people use some tongue and french-kiss!
