GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE Written by workinggirl24 on 09/21/2012I can relate to these earlier posts about this place. I worked at this job as a temp for abut 4 months and my Manager kept hitting on me all the time and asking me to go out to lunch with him. When I kept refusing him, he started making my job hard for me, telling stories and talking about me to other managers in other departments. I saw no end or peace with this so I quit. I once knew a very nice lady who worked for this government job some time ago. She kind of went through something similar. They treated that lady so bad. One of the worst things I heard they did to her was tap her personal phone. They were listening in on all her private conversations and reading her personal text messages. But the ugly part of it all that is that they tried to make it seem like it was her "work phone" so they would not get held accountable for anything. Took whatever information they had from that and used it against to set her up concerning her job. A Gross invasion of that lady's privacy. Such a nasty and mean thing they did to her.

I am hearing a lot of bad things about this place. I read all the comments and posts over and over. You would think that a government place would not stoop to these measures concerning someone. If they were willing to put a person through all of that, then that person must be telling the truth. Why else do it if they were not trying to hide something or cover it up? Shaking my head. That place should be investigated or whoever there was doing all this stuff or still doing it should be. That kind of environment would make anyone run for the hills in the other direction of trying to get a job there.

I read all the posts and comments too. They sound more like the Georgia Department of Liars. I definitely can believe that. The government lies all the time. Liar, Liars pants on fire. Stop lying on people! How do you know or can tell if someone in power working for the government is lying? There mouth is moving..lol

I believe every single word from these posts about this place. I knew someone that worked there and a lot of what has been said coincides with what some of their experiences. Horrible place. A lot of racism and sexism there. Worst government organization in the State of Georgia.
