Morton College Disgrace

Some administrators are just a disgrace for the profession. That’s the case of Dr. K and Dr. E, President and Vice President of Morton College respectively.
The two are a bad cartoon of what a community college leader should be. Let alone the fact the they do not know what they are doing (especially Dr. E who does not have any idea of anything) these two clowns feel too bad in their own skin that they simply cannot see you directly to your eyes when speaking with you, and they are the best example of dirty politics since they badmouth and make fund of other colleagues (VPs, Presidents and administrators) around the state exposing them and taking advantage of "their mistakes" so Dr. K and Dr. E can "shine more."
Dr. K and Dr. E are jeopardizing Morton College NCA accreditation due to their lack of knowledge in the area. Since Morton was put on notice they started a strong campaign against the NCA visitation team calling them "stupid, ignorant, unethical, unprofessional, and unprepared" individuals. Despite the fact that the NCA visitation team was compose of two Presidents and other high level administrators from neighboring community colleges in the state.
Additionally they are disservicing a community of low-income, first generation Latino students that are extremely confused by Dr. K's and Dr. E's terrorist tactics to eliminate staff, administrators, and faculty since they stepped in.
Shame on them and shame on the Board that is supporting them, it is obvious that both parties are getting a lot more of what they bargaining for ($$$). They are real white collar criminals misusing and steeling taxes from the community; something that Cicero Illinois is use to. They just landed in the right place at the right time, but it is the wrong time for all these in-need students that are suffering from these two pseudo-administrators.

As an employee of this great institution in Illinois, I'm proud to serve my community. It's certainly a disgrace to have these two individuals around us; they have created a hell in this GREAT community College. I guess their politicall abitiosn are well tie with the town president and the jerk who presides the board Ms. FR.

It's quite smart to have a novice administration below you. Who's going to tell you're wrong if nobody knows what they're doing. Smart move. Great Dr K....is it Dr. kevorkian (or whatever his name is)?

Cicero's former president is in prison for bilking the town of millions. Said she's lonely. Maybe she needs company? Doubt it would be Dr. K. He always seems to have his underlings take the fall for his dirty deeds.

The prez can't stand anybody who's competent--always chases them out. He brings in inexperienced administrators and interns from from places like Texas, Luisiana, and Arizona. No committee, no higher ed protocol. They appear. He puts them in charge of areas they know little or nothing about. They make royal messes. He rewards them with promotions.

Don't you folks over at Morton know about the Knight history? He was hired as an intern or some low level job at Triton and then one day was named president - at the age of 29. He keeps spreading his poison with his clones. Too bad for you he didn't stay at the grocery store. But mabe Meijer kicked his a*s out the way the college in Texas did. Good luck. You need it!

There were 2 who recently tried to fight the bad docs at Morton but Dr. K exercised his Napoleon ways and had them removed. Maybe they could had got him removed but nobody would support them. Too many people scared by Dr. K and Dr. E and that is the way they like it. Want to see scary numbers? Research the costs of the "museum" or K's eBay account. Wonder who pays for that? You would be surprised.

About that museum, I hear at least a million dollars. When K. started it he said Lucent donated items for the museum. Go to the museum and look at all of those on loan signs. A million dollar museum for loaned items? Why?

Watch out, good students, faculty, and staff of Tyler Junior College. Dr. E, now that he has helped Dr. K ruin Morton College, has decided to not stick around and see how the damage he has caused will play out and has instead accepted a job at Tyler. I wish all those there the best of luck. You will need it with this college-wrecker coming aboard.
The scary thing is, who will Dr. K now get as his next minion? Maybe the illustrious and equally inept AJS?

Some of us at MC are thinking that Dr. E has been getting a bum rap. People are disgusted with K and his tactics. They are disgusted with the board for allowing K to fire so many employees who actually knew how to do their jobs and replace them with novices, often arrogant novices. Many staff and faculty are worried about what is going to happen after Dr. E leaves. We've come to respect him. He gives a fair hearing and works to solve problems. It's too bad he had to be smeared by coming to Cicero. Tyler, don't worry. As long as you don't hire his boss you will be fine, but God help us with what's left! If this dear collge fails the responsibility goes to the board. It has sat in the new board room and allowed all of this distruction from the inside without a peep.

I cannot understand how anyone feels that DR E is getting a bad rap. The man has gone out of his to alienate many people. Have you never heard the way he talks about people during closed meetings? Fat ass, old woman, Baffa Squad?? Do any of those sound familiar to you? Feel sorry for him all you want but you noticed that he left the college during the most hectic administrative time of the fiscal year. Does not that sound funny to you? Next you will tell me that he is running to something, instead of from something.

As one who was "laid off" or let go by Dr K and RS (red head), I can actually read these comments and laugh. Nothing that Dr. K does surpised me anymore. What baffles me most is that the Illinois Community College Board doesn't step in and fix his clock. Is the money trickling up???

I meet Brent knight several years ago at Triton and I agree, he is a clown and a guy that was given the boot because he took money from the college. I'm sorry you are dealing with that snake again. Be carefull you cannot trust him at all.
