I used to work for a company in Michigan that did work for a major fortune 500 company. It was very creative work for a Graphic Designer. I got paid for crap, but was working to build up my portfolio. The owners were a couple. They were both impossible to work for. They expected overtime, but yelled if you come in 5 min. late. They have had a 50% turnover in the last year. I was one of the first to start the trend. After me and a 50yr old co-worker were taken into a closed door meeting and yelled at by the two bi-polar personalities. I actually thought it might get physical. The next day the old man was admitted to the hospital for hart problems. The next week when they were out for lunch I gave my letter of resignation. I didn't have a job lined up but got one that payed more with less stress. I thought that was then end of the story until I got an email from the little Umpa Lumpa. She told me I would have to remove MY PORTFOLIO from MY WEBSITE. Telling me I had signed a non disclosure agreement. I havn't responded to her yet. I figure she will have to go through the expense of hiring a lawyer.
