my wife works for a hospital near the jersey shore. she was hand picked to attend this new MSN program, so when she told me about it my first question was who is paying for this, and she was told not to worry about it, The system has money and that they will figure it out. well now she has less then 1 year left to complete this and finds out that the hospital used all her PTO hours to make up for the time she went to school, and now she has no time, for school or work and still go to school that We are paying for. $18,000 later (so far) and they will only pay her for the time she is there, 28 hours a week. these last 2 semisters are the hardest, she has class 2 days a week and 8 hours of clinical per week do do. and her last class is work in the role "clinical Role Leader" for 40 hours and 1 class per week, on top of work full time. this caring for New jersey system seems to forget that there Nurses live in New Jersey
