Today I almost fell asleep in my chair...

Who's with me on this one... It's about 3:30pm. You've spent the day working on something boring. You had a big lunch. Next thing you know your eyes start to get heavy. You actually start contemplating whether or not you could get away with sleeping "just for a few minutes". Your head bobs again... whoa... that was close. You shake yourself trying to awaken. Then you rest your head on your hand with your elbow on the desk. There, that works. You've somehow propped yourself up while making it look like you are staring at the computer.

Can you imagine if you actually did give in to temptation? I know I would be out like a light in about 10 seconds. Snoring would kick in after about 10 minutes. Then I would probably be rudely awakened by my cube neighbor, if I'm lucky. Worst case, the boss or better yet the owner comes walking by.

I need to move to Spain. I hear they get afternoon siestas.

Yeah, but I'm NOT a morning person, so I get my naps in the morning when I get to work. A good 10-15 minutes to ease into consciousness, a cup of coffee, and I'm good to go....
