Um, well...I can't come to work because I'm well...um...

Years ago my hubby and I were trying for our first child. We were totally determined to make it happen and the clock seemed to be ticking. Sooooo... I called in sick because I was ovulating and my husband and I need to do our own "work". SSShhhhhh!!!

Actually, this should qualify under the Family and Medical Leave Act which would have allowed you to just as you did - call in sick. :)

Excuse me? You are not actually saying that you expect to have a life??? Really, you should be aware that your employers expect you to "live to work", NOT "work to live."

Good for you. Did it work? Still regret that I did not do the same thing a few years ago. Having children and a family are more important than the bozos at work.
