SO I COME IN THIS MORNING... and my computer is moved to a different spot on my desk and my pencil holder is angled, my stapler is angled, and my chair is adjusted and all this... There is also a gaudy mirror hanging up where my framed Red Sox World Series Celebration photo was. (shot through the heart!) APPARENTLY my new cubicle mate (we have double cubes where we share) is into Feng Shui and felt her "Chee" (sp?) energy was messed up or something. So she moved MY STUFF around so that she "could work". She claims that AND I QUOTE, "In order for me to function here, I need to be able to harness Chee. In order for me to do THAT, there must be harmony and balance". All I said was "lady, I don't know what chee is or why you think you're gonna harness it, but what I do know about is ergonomics and I know my computer needs to be over HERE" and then I moved everything back. She didn't speak to me the rest of the day. Did I mention she was NEW here????
If she pulls that crap again, I'm reporting her.

OMG! I had a very similar thing happen to me with someonewho wasn't new but who moved in next to me and was VERY PARTICULAR about everything from the position of things on the desk to the room temperature to what color books could be facing her and which ones had to be flipped down. I think it was OCD or something. The worst part was if she worked too long or we had a meeting or something that went past 12 noon, she wouldn't eat lunch. She wouldn't eat one single minute past noon and then would go the rest of the afternoon talking about how hungry she was. DOH!
