I work at a Burger King in KY. Everyday this week there's been an old dude that comes in an orders a "Big Mac". My manager has picked up on the time that he comes in the store and everyday my manager rushes to the cash register and pushes one of us aside so he can take this guy's order. And the rest goes like this:
"Hello sir, welcome to BURGER KING"
"Gimme a Big Mac"
"Sir, we aint got Big Mac's here, this is BURGER KING"
"But I want a Big Mac. Can I get a Big Mac please, young man?"
"We AINT GOT BIG MAC's HERE. THIS IS BURGER KING."
"I just want a Big Mac"
"MAY-BE...YOU...WANT...A...WHOPPER."
"I don't want no whopper. dang-it I said I want a Big Mac"
"WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO ACROSS THE STREET AND ORDER THAT"
(looking confused) "Why?"
"BECAUSE...THIS HERE(points to sign) is BURGER KING"
and it goes on like that for about 5 minutes in front of all the customers until the guy leaves. Then my manager walks around like a poodle who just scared off a coyote. What I can't figure out is why the heck he just doesn't ring up a dang whopper and hand him one of those like we did the first couple days the guy came in! The guy's obviously old and confused and HUNGRY. Ugh, it makes me want to quit.
