Is it just me?

Here I am...behind the pulpit again. Didn't really think that I'd need to vent after going to work with my "friend". I've been with this company for awhile and thought that it was different. WRONGO!!!! I love my job and all that it entails, most of the people I work with and for are absolutely wonderful, but there always seems to be the one or two people that are so deceitful and it makes work that much harder.
Our team was put up for an industry award and are going to a special awards presentation at a five star. The person who is in charge of our team as well as another team decided to bring the other team along. I've no problem with that, even though they weren't nominated. Did you hear that? That was the sound of the other shoe dropping.
When the other team was nominated for an award and had their nice luncheon, nothing was mentioned to us and we eventually heard about it two weeks or so later.
We questioned the "person i.c." and she said, "Well, it wasn't your award, now was it?" How absolutely incredulous. Now here is the question.
Should we go about our routine as if nothing happened, or lock her monstrously huge butt in the supply closet with Ralph "arm pit fungus" the janitor?

Boy ... the closet part sounds very interesting if you were to throw in some roaches (or snakes) and have a film crew ready for some up-close action! I hear that YouTube is a good place to post!

arm pit fungus or no - does Ralph really deserve that?

Be on your toes, sounds like the person in charge thinks more highly of the other team for some reason.
